WEEK 7

-The zelkova tree-
Before the cutting

Oops! It had grown too much while I left it for a week, because of my business trip!

After
I cut the branches over the level I decided. And I also reduced the branche I found the last week. I recognized it as a good branche for Bonsai shape, but it was my misunderstanding. I should keep only 2 main branches and cut every branches down under the main branches.
Anyways, It seems to increase useful branches and leaves.

WEEK 6

The zelkova tree
New branch
Maybe I overlooked this young branch. Actually, this is the branch I want. This zelkova tree made branches only on the top of it so far, but it it useless for Bonsai work and I cut those. Besides, this branch has come out on the bottom part of the tree. It is very good for my Bonsai.

Figures
My Bonsai was just an ordinary Bonsai until yesterday, but now it no longer such a pot. Now my Bonsai pot has gone up to the higher stage of Bonsai, I mean it has become to Mambonsai. I shaw you these FURYOU figures on former blog, however I didn't update the pics of detail shot like this.

WEEK 5

Figures for Mambonsai
Those are figures I bought for Mambonsai. Originally, this kinda figure is for the diorama of the train model. Mambonsai is the Bonsai tree with the figure. So, those figures is indispensable for Mambonsai.

Ready for Mambonsai
First of all, We need to stick a small pin to the bottom of the figure like this pic. We put it into the ground of my Bonsai pot. This time, I use a jelly type quick-driving glue to stick it.

The zelkova tree
Before the cutting
I cut the new branch like the last time and add the soil on the center of the pot.

After
Now the center of the pot has rised and the surface of the moss has become more rounder. It looks much better. Finally, I put the figures on the pot. Say, now my Mambonsai has come out. This Mambonsai named "Oops! the rendezvous for the duel today is under the zelkova tree, right? Maybe wrong?". These figures are Japanese bad boy " FURYOU". Basically, FURYOU is a student. This Manbonsai stands for the scene that a FURYOU student find out that they are waiting at the wrong place for the duel with other school FURYO students. In Japan, ordinal duel is usually made under a big tree.
